Councilmember Gunke indicated that she felt the Municipal <br />facility Study should be considered at a separate hearing from the Capital <br />Improvement Program public hearings. Co ncilmember Schuldt indicated that he <br />felt public meetings should be held as s on as possible. <br /> <br />Mr. Wade Turner, representative of the C .tizen.'s Advisory Committee, indicated <br />that he felt the more information provid d to the community regarding the City's <br />municipal facilities and the Advisory Co ittee's recommendation, the better. <br />Mr. Turner further indicated that he fel there was a definite need for improve- <br />ment in the municipal facilities, and th t the information to the public would <br />speak for itself. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the City Council that public hearings to consider the <br />municipal facility study would be held S ptember 25th and September 27th at <br />the Senior Highway School Theater at 7:3 p.m. <br /> <br />7. Wolner Re uest for Conditional Use Permi - Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle indicated that Mr. Larry Wo ner and Mr. Mike Wagner have requested <br />a conditional use permit to construct a roduce market on property located at the <br />intersection of 167th Street and Highway #10. Mayor Hinkle indicated that Mr. <br />Wagner and Mr. Wolner proposed to constr ct a permanent building with a fenced <br />outdoor sales area, and a detached garag for storage. Mayor Hinkle indicated <br />that the Planning Commission considered Mr. WaIner's and Mr. Wagner's request, <br />and voted unanimously to recommend to the City Council that the conditional use <br />permit be granted. Mayor Hinkle further indicated that the Planning Commission <br />recommended that the City Council allow the Wolners to construct a temporary <br />structure for the balance of the 1984 season, to be removed at the end of 1984. <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that the proposed site is immediately across <br />167th from Broadway Bar and Pizza. The City Administrator indicated that the <br />City staff concurs with the Planning Commission's recommendation to grant a <br />conditional use permit to Mr. Larry Wolner and Mr. Mike Wagner to construct a <br />produce market with the conditions as stated in the City Administrator's memo <br />to the Mayor and City Council dated August 17, 1984. <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle opened the public hearing. No one appeared for or in opposition of <br />the conditional use permit request. <br /> <br />Discussion was carried on regarding the temporary structure. Mr. Wolner requested <br />that the City Council allow the temporary structure to remain until the new struc- <br />ture is built sometime next year. Mr. Wolner indicated that the temporary structure <br />could be used as advertising during the year. The City Administrator indicated <br />that he could not foresee a problem with allowing the temporary structure to <br />remain until the new structure is started, but indicated that the City Council <br />should set a definite date that the temporary structure must be removed. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO APPROVE A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUEST BY MR. <br />LARRY WOLNER AND MR.
