The City Administrator requested <br />that Mr. Madden not disrupt business at the Northbound Liquor Store in any way, <br />as generally the busiest time for the Liquor Store i$ around holidays. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO GRANT A TRANSIENT LICENSE TO MR. ROBERT MADDEN <br />TO SELL ELOWERSON THE NORTHBOUND LIQUOR STORE PARKING LOT ON SATURDAY AND <br />SUNDAY DURING REGULAR HOURS WITH THE FULL COOPERATION OF THE LIQUOR STORE MANAGER. <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 2-1. COUNCILMEMBER <br />DUITSMAN OPPOSED. <br /> <br />12. 3.2 Beer License Revocation Hearing for Dino's Pizza and Mechanical Amusement <br />Device License Request <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle indicated that the City has had problems with Dino's Pizza in the <br />past with regard to the required non-intoxicating malt liquor license as well <br />as the mechanical amusement device license and therefore, recommended consideration <br />by the City Council of revocation of the beer license. Mayor Hinkle indicated <br />that at the time the owner of Dino's Pizza was notified of the City Council's <br />consideration, the owner indicated that she was not interested in a beer license. <br /> <br />Councilmember Gunkel questioned Ms. Caryn Lundquist with regard to her delinquency <br />in obtaining the mechanical amusement device licensej after the number of requests <br />by the City. Ms. Lundquist indicated that she has t~ouble getting all of the <br />things done that she needs to get done and realizes ~hat she would have to change <br />her priorities. Councilmember Gunkel indicated thatl she has changed her position <br />with regard to the revocationcof the beer license. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DUITSMAN MOVED TO LIFT THE SUSPENSION OF THE BEER LICENSE FOR DINO'S <br />PIZZA. COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE MECHANICAL, AMUSEMENT DEVICE LICENSE FOR <br />DINO'S PIZZA. COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOtION. THE MOTION PASSED <br />3...,.0. <br /> <br />13. Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance Regarding Funeral Parlors <br /> <br />The amendment to the zoning ordinance regarding funeiral parlors was not considered, <br />as a full Council was not present at the May 7th meeting. <br /> <br />14. Request for Street Name Change in Brentwood Subdivision <br /> <br />Councilmember Duitsman indicated that the City has ~dopted a grid system in the <br />Elk River .area and upon notification by the Post Office department that the <br />streets in the Brentwood Addition do not match the ~rid system, the City's <br />Building and Zoning Administrator worked with the pqst offic.e to develop a more <br />sensible street naming system'~'" ,Councilmember Duitsman indidated that once the <br />street naming revision were made, Mr. Breezee notified a number of affected <br />residents in the area regarding the change. Councilmember Duitsman indicated <br />that Mr. Ken Williams owned property on the road proposed to be Morton Circle, <br />and has requested that the City Council consider renaming the road to Brentwood <br />
