Consider Resolution Adopting Tax Levy <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO APPROVE RESOLUTION 86-72 AUTHORIZING TAX <br />LEVIES FOR CALENDAR YEAR 1987. COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO AMEND THE GENERAL FUND CITY BUDGET TO <br />$1.454.500. COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED <br />4-0. <br /> <br />7. Consideration of HRA Tax Levy <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 86-73 A RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY 1987 TAX LEVY. <br />COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />8. Consideration of Adoption of Assessment for Improvements to Ridgewood <br />East/Continued Public Hearing <br /> <br />The City Administrator explained the purpose of the continuation of the <br />public hearing was because of three parcels of property added to the <br />assessment roll. He also explained the appeal process at this time. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle reconvened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Paul Medenwaldt questioned the names of all the roads being overlayed in <br />the project. The City Engineer named the roads at this time. <br /> <br />Jane Titrud voiced her concern of the confusion among the people <br />regarding the public hearing process. <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />COUNCILJ1EMBER TRALLE MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 86-74, A RESOLUTION <br />ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT FOR BITUMINOUS OVERLAY PROJECT FOR RIDGEWOOD EAST <br />AND RIDGEWOOD EAST THIRD ADDITIONS, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PAT DWYERS' <br />PROPERTY OF WHICH THE ASSESSMENT WILL BE ~~ENDED TO INCLUDE ONLY ONE <br />PARCEL, AND FURTHER THAT THE ASSESSMENT BE EXTENDED OVER A PERIOD OF <br />SEVEN (7) YEARS AND AT THE RATE OF 9 1/4% INTEREST. COUNCILMEMBER <br />ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />9. Consideration of Resolution Adopting Assessment for Improvements to <br />Simonet Drive/Continued Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle explained that this public hearing was continued because of <br />two parcels of ?roperty which had the wrong assessment amounts regarding <br />individually contracted work. <br /> <br />Mayor Hinkle reconvened the public hearing at this time. <br /> <br />e There being no comments from the floor, Mayor Hinkle closed the public <br />hearing. <br />
