THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. 6.8. Partial Payment Request for J.P. Norex, Inc. e COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO APPROVE PARTIAL PAYMENT OF $72,278.30 TO J. P. NOREX. INC. FOR WORK DONE ON THE SIMONET DRIVE PROJECT. COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. 7. Administrative Subdivision Request by Robert Hastings/Public Hearing Steve Rohlf, Building and Zoning Administrator, noted that Mr. Robert Hastings was requesting an administrative subdivision on property he owns legally described as Parcel TWo, Government Lot TWo, Section 24, Township 32, Range 26, Sherburne County. He noted that at the present time Mr. Hastings owns parcels 2 and 4 and he is proposing to combine part of parcel 4 with parcel 2 and then divide that into three parts shown as "A", "B", and"C" on the attached map. He noted that Parcel A would be a 100 foot strip which he would like to sell to the adjacent neighbor to combine with his present lot; Parcel B would be a newly created building lot of 2.5 acres in size and Parcel C would be for his existing house. The Building and Zoning Administrator indicated that Mr. Hastings is proposing to access Part B of the proposed division by extending the existing road and utility easement on the north line of Parcel 2, 70 feet so it abuts Part B. Mr. Rohlf indicated that this easement was not a city street. Mayor Hinkle opened the public hearing. No one appeared for or against the matter. Mayor Hinkle closed the public hearing. e Councilmember Schuldt questioned what assurances the City would have that the neighbor purchasing parcel A would add it to his own property. He stated that his concern was that without adding parcel A to the existing lot, it would not be a buildable lot.
