Resolution Authorizing Signatures for Safety Deposit Box <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER WILLIAMS MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 86-39 A RESOLUTION FOR <br />SAFE DEPOSIT BOX. COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />PASSED 3-0. <br /> <br />15. Planning Commission Appointments <br /> <br />The City Administrator noted that a letter of resignation had been <br />received from Steve Merrick and he had been informed that the City would <br />be receiving a letter of resignation from Tom Warner in the very near <br />future. The City Administrator questioned the Council as to the <br />direction the City should take for filling the positions. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO APPOINT BOB MORTON TO THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION TO REPLACE STEVE MERRICK. COUNCILMEMBER WILLIAMS SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO ADVERTISE FOR THE POSITION OF PLANNING <br />COMMISSION MEMBER WHEN THE LETTER OF RESIGNATION IS RECEIVED FROM TOM <br />WARNER. COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 3- <br />O. <br /> <br />Councilmember Gunkel indicated she would also like to interview Todd <br />Mixer from the previous applicants. <br /> <br />16. Gambling License for St. Andrew's Catholic Church <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER WILLIAMS MOVED TO TAKE NO VETO ACTION ON THE GAMBLING <br />LICENSE REQUEST FROM ST. ANDREW'S CATHOLIC CHURCH. COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br /> <br />17. Check Register <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE CHECK REGISTER. COUNCILMEMBER <br />SCHULDT SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 3-0. <br /> <br />18.1 Employee Wage Adjustments <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that Liquor Store Manager was requesting <br />a pay raise for Steve Tillman from $6.00/hr to $7.00/hr. to make him <br />more in line with other liquor store clerks in the area. He noted that <br />Steve Tillman is the only full time clerk at Northbound and has been with <br />the City for three years. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schuldt stated he felt that the clerk had just been made <br />full time and had received a raise. therefore. he should not be getting <br />another raise at this time. <br />
