The City Administrator indicated <br />that it would be possible to trade some jobs with Ken Nelson in the <br />Sewer Department. He noted that Ken Nelson was capable of driving <br />heavy equipment and had a Class B license. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL MOVED TO ALLav TERRY MACK TO REMAIN ON WITH THE <br />CITY AS A FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE AND TO ALLOW HIM TO INTERACT WITH IN THE <br />SEWER DEPARTMENT. COUNCILMEMBER WILLIAMS SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schuldt stated he felt Terry Mack should be dismissed <br />because he had put the City in serious financial jeopardy. and also <br />because he could no longer provide the same job ability because he <br />could not drive. <br /> <br />THE MOTION PASSED 3-1. <br />MOTION. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT VOTED AGAINST THE <br /> <br />F. <br /> <br />Annual League of Minnesota Cities Conference <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The City Administrator noted that the Annual League of Minnesota <br />Cities conference was going to be held June 17-20. He indicated the <br />budget has provided for two people from staff to attend. <br />Councilmember Gunkel indicated she would be attending. <br /> <br />G. <br /> <br />Status of projects in City Administrator's Office <br /> <br />The City Administrator discussed the projects which were incomplete at <br />the present time. These projects are listed in the memorandum dated <br />April 28. 1986. <br /> <br />Item #5 regarding possible changing of the ward boundaries. was <br />discussed at length. The City Administrator indicated that the ward <br />boundaries don't meet the requirements of the statutes. He indicated <br />the boundaries are supposed to follow identifiable physical features. <br />He indicated he drew a map with new boundaries and submitted it to <br />the census bureau. and the census bureau. in turn. resubmitted to the <br />City another map with boundaries they were requesting. The City <br />Administrator indicated that we have until January 1. 1987 to change <br />the ward lines. and if we want to change them by the primary election <br />they must be changed by June 11. <br /> <br />After further discus~ion. it was the consensus of the City Council to <br />table the item until a future date. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Item #10 regarding the <br />length.
