COUNCILMEMBER <br />DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 5-0. <br /> <br />cOUNCILMEMBER DOBEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE LIQUOR LICENSE FOR CHIN YUEN <br />RESTAuRANT CONTINGENT UPON THE CITY RECEIVING APPROVAL OF THE BACKGROUND <br />CHECK BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR ONN CHOR. COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 5-0. <br /> <br />7. Gambling License Requests <br /> <br />The City Council took no action on a request for a raffle license by the <br />Elk River Golden Eyes Ducks Unlimited to take place at the Elk River Bowl <br />on August 21. 1987. <br /> <br />The City Council took no action on a request for a raffle and bingo <br />license by St. Andrew's Church to be held on Au~ust 16. 1987. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Economic Development Consultant. Mike Mulrooney <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Mr. Mike Mulrooney of Business Development Services was present. He <br />discussed a memorandum which he presented to the Council which had a time <br />frame outline of duties which he intended to perform by December of 1987. <br />and also a memorandum regarding considerations for hiring an Economic <br />Development Coordinator. It was the consensus that Mr. Mulrooney would <br />submit information to the City Council regarding Items 1a and 1b of his <br />memo by July 13. 1987. <br />
