e e It Page 4 City Council Minutes April 27. 1987 5.3 City Shirts Klaers After more mentioned discussion interested ordering shirts with City logo's for all City employees. among the Council. it was decided that members would be in jackets and Klaers will be checking into both items. 5.4 City Caps Klaers indicated that the staff has ordered more City caps which are mainly worn by outside staff. The caps placed on this order will be more general saying "City of Elk River" and no logo. 5.5 Pledge of Allegiance at start of City Council Meetings After discussion among the Council. it was decided to not adjust the City Council meeting format and not to say the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of the City Council meetings. 5.6 May-June Council Meeting Schedule Pat Klaers presented the schedule of the May and June Council Meetings. May 4: Starting time at 7:00 p.m. meeting to be addressed as committee meeting. 9: City Hall Open House; 10:30 - 1:30 11: Growth Management Meeting- CANCELLED 18: Meet at Library - Building & Zoning Items 21: Board of Equalization; 7:00 p.m. at County Administration Building 25: Memorial Day: No City Council meeting Scheduled May May May May 'May June 1 : June 8: June 15: June 22: June 29: Regular Meeting at Library Growth Management meeting at City Hall Building/Zoning Items. meeting at the Library Committee Meeting at City Hall with auditor Open as 5th Monday of month Councilmember Tralle suggested meeting on 29th as Committee Meeting and the entire Council concurred with this suggestion. July 6: Pat Klaers noted that he may be out of town on vacation for this meeting. 6.1 Council Meeting Starting Time COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO BEGIN CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS AT 7 :00 P.M. COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED THE MOTION. cOUNcILMEMBER SCHULDT ADDED THAT THIS WOULD CONTINUE FOR AN INDEFINITE PERIOD OF TIME. COUNCILMEMBER TRALLE SECONDED THIS AMENDMENT. THE MOTION AS AMENDED CARRIED 5-0.
