Chief of Police. has indicated that he is having difficulty <br />recruiting a qualified officer and is looking at the possibility of <br />promoting a part-time officer. Discussion was held among the Council <br />regarding the paying of an officer's schooling and the legal requirements <br />of readvertising for the position. Pat Klaers will discuss this matter <br />with Tom Zerwas and the City Attorney. <br /> <br />6.4 RDF Tour <br /> <br />Mayor Gunkel gave a brief report on the RDF tour held on April 23. 1987. <br />in Newport. <br /> <br />7.
