It would be necessary to test all <br />leachate before it be deposited in the sewer system to see if it can be <br />handled as is. or if it is necessary to pretreat it. Because of this <br />testing. leachate would have to be stored for a waiting period and various <br />storage methods were discussed. <br /> <br />Darrell <br />leachate <br />order to <br />Gunkel. <br /> <br />Mack. Sewer Treatment Plant Manager. shared his thoughts on the <br />situation. The necessary information has not been collected in <br />answer all of the questions asked by both the Council and Mayor <br /> <br />TWo ways would be needed for getting rid of the leachate: one. if it <br />would pass for treatment at the sewer plant. and one. if it does not pass <br />for the treatment at the sewer plant. <br /> <br />Mr. Mack <br />of the <br />study of <br /> <br />agreed that he would be willing to test and study the treatment <br />leachate. Peter Beck suggested that the City finance the initial <br />the leachate project. <br /> <br />8.2.Variance Request by New Creations/Public Hearing <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf. Building and Zoning Administrator. was present to discuss the <br />New Creations request for a 15 foot variance on a 50 foot front yard <br />setback on Lot 37. Block 1. Greenhead 3rd Addition. The error in the lot <br />survey was not brought to the attention of Mr. Rohlf until after the block <br />foundation for the house had been laid. <br /> <br />The public hearing was opened on this matter. There were no comments from <br />the public. The hearing was then closed. Mr. Rohlf stated that he felt <br />New Creations qualified for a variance and that they were not at fault due <br />to a mistake in the lot survey. <br /> <br />cOUNCILMEMBER TRALLE MOVED TO <br />CREATIONS. Street Superintendent. explained the need for purchasing of <br />property to be used as an entry to the Lion's Park from School Street. <br />Larry Morrell contacted Mr. Hals and stated he is possibly willing to <br />trade a piece of property. 300' x 400'. bordering the Central Lutheran <br />Chruch property for a piece of the City property on Highway 169. <br /> <br />Another piece of property at the corner of School Street and Jackson <br />Avenue was suggested as a second option. <br /> <br />e <br />
