She expressed a concern as to how new <br />home owners would be able to afford this cost. <br /> <br />Mary Ellen Stanaway - Deerfield 3rd <br /> <br />Stated she moved to Elk River for a slower pace of life. Her main <br />concern with the plan is that of safety in relation to the increased <br />traffic from the proposed commercial area on Highway 169. She indicated <br />the Council should take another look at the plan because of the high <br />volume of traffic in the area already. <br /> <br />Earl Hohlen <br /> <br />Questioned what the proposed zoning was for his land <br />intersection of Highway 169 and Main Street. <br /> <br />near <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Kitty Omitt - Heavenly Hills Area <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Questioned the term of "grand fathering in" and how it would affect her <br />land. She stated people move to Elk River because of the slower pace of <br />living and cautioned the Council from moving too fast on the plan. <br /> <br />Jay Galbrecht - 11369 192nd Ave NW <br /> <br />Mr. Galbrecht indicated that the City's job is to protect the residents. <br />He indicated the plan needs to be looked at more closesly. He further <br />indicated that the park and and land use maps do not correspond to the <br />housing density in the areas. <br /> <br />Don Lemmon - 11369 Brook Road <br /> <br />Mr. Lemmon indicaed he is just inside the 10 acre zone and questioned <br />whether he would be allowed to sell lots less than 10 acres in size. <br /> <br />LeRoy Brown <br /> <br />Mr. Brown <br />whether he <br />residential <br />property. <br /> <br />indicated he is located in the Industrial zone and questioned <br />would be permitted to rezone and plot his land into <br />lots if homes are developed in close vicinity to his <br /> <br />Rick Fredrickson - Ranch Road <br /> <br />Indicated he was right on the boundary of the 10 acre zone and questioned <br />whether variances would be granted so people in this zone could plat <br />their land into smaller lots. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Roger Stanaway <br /> <br />Indicated his concern regarding the safety of Highway traffic on Highway <br />169. <br />
