THAT AN ADDITIONAL 17 FEET OF ROAD EASEMENT ALONG COUNTY ROAD 13 BE <br />PROVIDED. <br /> <br />COUNCILMIMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4...;0. <br /> <br />5.9 RCM Fire Update <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmgren indicated that the property owner adjacent to the <br />RCM business which was recently burned was present. Mr. George Cowles <br />addressed the Council. He indicated he was the owner of the building <br />adjacent to the recent fire. Mr. Cowles stated that the area has not <br />been touched since the fire and that it is creating a hazard for himself <br />and anybody else that wants to enter his building. Mr. Cowles indicated <br />that he is unable to drive up to his building due to the scrap materials <br />and nails laying around the area from the fire. Mr. Cowles requested <br />that the City take action to assure that the insurance money received is <br />used to clean up the site as soon as possible as it is dangerous to his <br />business. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />City Attorney, Tim Keane, stated that the Council may determine that the <br />existing conditions are a hazard and that the City can either request <br />action 20 days upon the adoption of the resolution or if the City feels <br />that there is an immediate danger to the surrounding area they may <br />expedite the matter in a more timely manner. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE A <br />RESOLUTION WHICH WOULD ALLOW A COURT ORDER TO BE ISSUED FOR THE CLEAN UP <br />OF THE RCM PROPERTY. COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />Building and <br />pursue having <br />order. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator. Stephen Rohlf. stated that he would <br />the property cleaned up by the owner prior to the court <br /> <br />6.3 Consider Liquor License Request for Main Tap <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Schuldt stated that the City has received an application for a <br />liquor license for Dick's Main Tap by Robert Peterson who will be <br />purchasing the Main Tap on November 1, 1989. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPROVE AN ON-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE, A <br />SUNDAY LIQUOR LICENSE, AND AN OFF-SALE NON-INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR <br />LICENSE TO MR. PETERSON FOR DICK'S MAIN TAP CONTINGENT UPON THE INSURANCE <br />BEING RECEIVED BY THE CITY PRIOR TO MR. PETERSON OPERATING THE <br />ESTABLISHMENT. COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />~ 5.8 Environmental Update <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf, Building and Zoning Administrator, indicated that the <br />licenses and conditional use permits for NSP and UPA will be up for <br />renewal in 1990 and indicated that he will be contacting both companies. <br />
