<br />Page 3 <br /> <br />City of Elk River City Council Minutes <br />March 13. 1989 <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />-------------------------------------- <br /> <br />Bill Harju <br />lots. <br /> <br />10733 201st Circle - also questioned the policy on corner <br /> <br />Mr. Max Maue - 19215 Tyler Street - stated that some of the larger land <br />owners are being taxed for one parcel of land and are not allowed to <br />subdivide their lots. He stated that it is unfair that the City assess <br />these property owners for more than one unit. <br /> <br />Howard Dolson - 19030 Twin Lakes Road - stated that if parcels can not be <br />divided by the City then they should be assessed for only one parcel. He <br />stated that he agreed with Mr. Maue. <br /> <br />Dave Burrandt - 19118 Tyler Street - questioned whether the north end and <br />south end of Tyler Street would be aligned. He further questioned the <br />number of parcels he is proposed to be assessed for and also indicated <br />that he would rather not see concrete curb and gutter in the area. <br /> <br />Mr. Wally Fox 19508 Ulysses - indicated to Mr. Maurer that there is <br />plastice under the pond in the area. Mr. Fox also questioned whether the <br />speed limit would be reduced on Tyler Street as it will be an urban road. <br /> <br />Mr. Keith Quammen 19823 Ulysses Street - questioned what the overall <br />width of the street would be when it was completed. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Herb Clausen - Twin Lakes Road - questioned the number of units he would <br />be assessed for. He stated that he did not feel the assessment was fair <br />and stated that he would not give the City any land or right-of-way for <br />the widening of Tyler Street. <br /> <br />Kari Nielson - 19796 Tyler Street - questioned why the City was proposing <br />curb and gutter for Tyler Street when there currently is no curb and <br />gutter in that area. <br /> <br />Mr. Mike Wirtz - 20020 Tyler Street - questioned when the City's policy <br />went into effect requiring curb and gutter in plats. <br /> <br />Mr. Dan Minch 10754 201st Circle - questioned what the interest rate <br />would be on the assessment. <br /> <br />Mary <br />$1150 <br />paying <br />gutter. <br /> <br />Eberley 20204 Smith Street - questioned the equity of charging <br />for an overlay on Smith Street while Tyler Street residents were <br />$1500 per unit and receiving a reconstructed street with curb and <br /> <br />Mr. Don Heitland Tyler Street questioned what the speed limit <br />requirement would be when Tyler Street was reconstructed. <br /> <br />Mike Arnold - Smith Street - questioned whether there was any chance of <br />Smith Street receiving curb and gutter. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Mr. Lindquist 203rd Avenue questioned what type of preventative <br />maintenance the roads would receive once they were overlayed. <br />
