Ms. Fisher indicated that they would be allowed to run loose. <br />Mayor Tralle indicated that it would be a good idea to fence the <br />chickens so they do not cause problems with neighboring residents and <br />their pet dogs. <br /> <br />Mayor Tralle opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Virginia Barnier, adjacent property owner, <br />planning to develop the adjacent property. <br />regarding a possible conflict with the new <br />animals. <br /> <br />indicated that she is <br />She stated her concern <br />property owners and the <br /> <br />There being no further comments from the public, Mayor Tralle closed <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL MOVED TO APPROVE A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR BRENT <br />AND GERALDINE FISHER TO ALLOW AN AGRICULTURAL USE ON THEIR PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 13271 1921/2 STREET WITH THE FOLLOWING STIPULATIONS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />That proper fencing be maintained to assure containment of the <br />animals including the chickens. <br /> <br />2. That the Fisher's keep the area clean to avoid odor and dust, and <br />further, that if this condition is not met, it could result in the <br />revocation of their permit. <br /> <br />3. That all setback requirements for fencing and the building be met. <br /> <br />4. That the applicants will be limited to three horses, two goats and <br />twenty chickens to avoid groundwater contamination. <br /> <br />5. That this conditional use permit be reviewed in two years. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />6.5 Conditional Use Permit Request by Ted Nitz/P.H. <br /> <br />Janelle Szklarski, Zoning Assistant, indicated that Mr. Ted Nitz is <br />requesting a conditional use permit to construct a nonagricultural <br />accessory building 1,260 square feet in size on his property located at <br />18942 Albany Street NW. She indicated that Mr. Nitz has stated he will <br />use the structure for storage and also to work on his hobby of <br />restoring old cars. Ms. Szklarski requested the Council to look at the <br />size of the building in relation to how it will fit in the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Mayor Tralle opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Mr. Floyd Stromberg indicated that he lives at 319 2nd Street and that <br />he has a problem with snowmobiles crossing on his lawn.
