He <br />further indicated that the Council authorized staff to draft a <br />resolution allowing a model home by Terry Lee Realty and Homes on Lot <br />6, Block 1, Pinewood Subdivision, for a six month period. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DOBEL MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 90-4, A RESOLUTION <br />ALLOWING A MODEL HOME IN PINEWOOD SUBDIVISION FOR TERRY LEE REALTY AND <br />HOMES. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED <br />5-0. <br /> <br />5.3. Qther <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf, Building and Zoning Administrator, indicated that he has <br />received a complaint regarding the lack of lighting at the intersection <br />of Tyler and County Road 13. After discussion by the Council, a motion <br />was made to install a light at the corner of Tyler and County Road 13. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO INSTALL A STREET LIGHT AT THE CORNER OF <br />TYLER STREET AND COUNTY ROAD 13. COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />Mayor Tralle requested that City Staff and Police Department Personnel <br />be requested to report dark intersections in the City. <br /> <br />The Council took a 5 minute recess at 7:55 p.m. <br /> <br />6. 1. R~yJew _PrQPos~.d.J.'~.rsonnel Q.r.d.ilH!:D.ge <br /> <br />The City Administrator introduced Shannon McCambridge, the City's <br />Personnel Consultant. Ms. McCambridge indicated she has been working <br />with Staff in redrafting the City's Personnel Ordinance. She stated <br />that she has divided the Ordinance into five sections: Administrative <br />Organization; City Service; Employee Benefits; Personnel Policies; and <br />Miscellaneous. The City Council and Staff proceeded to discuss the <br />proposed Personnel Ordinance. The Ordinance was reviewed page by <br />page. 'l'he ma,iori ty of the discussion revolved around the following <br />topics: <br /> <br />Gpmp Time <br /> <br />The Council discussed the rate at which comp time could be <br />accumulated. The Council agreed with the proposed ordinance that no <br />more than 40 hours of comp time shall accumulate from year to year. <br /> <br />VacatioT! <br /> <br />The Council discussed the rate of accumulation for vacation and the <br />rate of accrual. Councilmember Holmgren indicated that the proposed <br />ordinance allowing the carryover of an equal amount to the total <br />number of enti tIed vacation days from one year to the next was too <br />lenient.
