Councilmember Kropuenske stated he would <br />recommend that the City consider this as he has received several <br />complaints for this area. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO INSTALL A STREET LIGHT AT THE CORNER <br />OF PROCTOR AVENUE AND RIDGEWOOD DRIVE WITH THE CITY TO PAY FOR THE <br />INSTALLATION OF THE STREET LIGHT AND TO PAY FOR THE ELECTRICITY TO RUN <br />THE STREET LIGHT. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />b. Councilmember Schuldt Update <br /> <br />Councilmember Schuldt questioned when the Council would see a completed <br />copy of the Capital Improvement Program. The City Administrator <br />indicated that it was his understanding that the Council felt the <br />Capital Improvement Program was well enough defined through the several <br />meetings that were held that there was no need to have a final copy at <br />this time. Councilmember Schuldt requested that a review of the <br />Capital Improvement Program take place prior to meeting for the budget. <br /> <br />c. Special City Council Meetings <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO CALL SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER CITY <br />COUNCIL ON AUGUST 31 TO BE HELD AT 7:00 P.M. AT ELK RIVER CITY HALL FOR <br />THE PURPOSE OF REVIEWING THE 1993 BUDGET. COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO CALL A SPECIAL MEETING OF ELK RIVER CITY <br />COUNCIL ON SEPTEMBER 8 TO REVIEW THE 1993 CITY BUDGET AND TO HOLD A <br />PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ELK TERRACE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. <br />10 AT ELK RIVER CITY HALL AT 7:00 P.M. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER SCHULDT MOVED TO CALL A BOARD OF CANVAS MEETING TO BE <br />HELD AT 5:00 P.M. ON SEPTEMBER 17 AT ELK RIVER CITY HALL. COUNCILMEMBER <br />DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />d. Update on Proctor Avenue Project and Railroad Crossing Project at <br />Proctor Avenue <br /> <br />Pat Klaers updated the Council on the Proctor Avenue and Railroad <br />Crossing Project. <br /> <br />e. Bid on Two Tandem Axle Dump Trucks <br /> <br />Phil Hals informed the Council that he had submitted a bid on two used <br />tandem axle dump trucks. It was the consensus of the Council to <br />authorize the purchase of these two trucks if Phil's bid is accepted. <br />
