Consider Resolution Adopting Assessment Roll for Westwood Area <br /> <br />Pat Klaers noted that there were two changes to the assessment roll: <br /> <br />1. Property owned by Aldon and Roberta Berglove should be assessed as <br />follows: <br /> <br />prD i 75-465-0620 <br />Total Assessment $6,314.43 <br />prD i 75-465-0630 <br />Total Assessment $ -0- <br /> <br />2. Property owned by Lila and Gerald Schaefer should be assessed as <br />follows: <br /> <br />prD i 75-465-0570 <br />Total Assessment $3,051.43 <br /> <br />Mayor Tralle informed the property owners that each property owner will <br />be notified of the correct assessment amount by mail. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Councilmember Schuldt stated that the Westwood Area has a long history <br />of trying to develop a project. He stated that if the project is not <br />done, some of the property in the area will greatly decrease in value. <br />He indicated that the City has put as much money into this project as <br />possible. He further stated that if the project is delayed and comes <br />up again, the City may not have enough money to put into the project <br />and the assessments could rise. He stated he is in favor of the <br />project. <br /> <br />Councilmember <br />been put into <br />stated that <br />time that the <br />project. <br /> <br />Holmgren stated that much thought and consideration has <br />this project by both Council and staff. He further stated that he felt the project would eventually be <br />ordered and that the cost would never be any less than it is now and <br />further that the project would never be done at a time which would be <br />agreeable to everyone. He stated that the City has contributed <br />approximately 30% to the project. Councilmember Dietz indicated he <br />would vote in favor of the project. <br />
