Consider Ordinance Amendment Section 900.08 Junk Yard-Junk Vehicles by <br />the City of Elk River/P.H. <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf indicated that the City staff <br />definition of a junk yard through an ordinance <br />that the ordinance amendment would reduce the <br />person may have to one vehicle. He further <br />current ordinance allows two junk vehicles per <br /> <br />is proposing to amend the <br />amendment. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />6.10.0ther <br /> <br />Janelle Szklarski indicated that she has received a request from Nancy <br />Drews of Drews' Toys and Hobby Shop to locate a bike rack along the <br />sidewalk. After discussion by the Council, it was the consensus to <br />allow a bike rack to be located on the sidewalk in front of Drews' <br />Hobby Shop. <br /> <br />5.5. Consider Bids for 3/4 Ton Pick Up and Vacuum Trailer/Waste Water <br />Treatment Plant <br /> <br />Darrell Mack, Waste Water Treatment Plant Superintendent, informed the <br />City Council that the City received three bids on a new pick up. He <br />indicated he is requesting that the Council consider awarding the bid <br />to Elk River Chrysler which was the lowest bid at $15,238. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER KROPUENSKE MOVED TO AWARD THE BID FOR A PICK UP TRUCK TO <br />ELK RIVER CHRYSLER IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,238. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />
