THAT THE LIGHTING BE SAFE AND SUBDUED SO AS NOT TO AFFECT THE <br />PRIVACY OF THE RESIDENTS IN THE AREA. <br /> <br />6. THAT THERE BE APPROPRIATE SCREENING BY WAY OF VEGETATION OF SUCH A <br />NATURE THAT THE QUALITY OF VEGETATION WILL SCREEN AND ABSORB THE <br />NOISE FROM THE POLICE VEHICLES AND RESIDENTS CLOSE TO THE ROAD. <br /> <br />7. THAT OUTLOT A OF ORONO LAKE 3RD ADDITION BE INCORPORATED INTO THIS <br />PLAT BY ADDING IT TO LOT 1, BLOCK 2. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO DIRECT THE CITY ATTORNEY TO DRAW UP THE <br />APPROPRIATE LANGUAGE REGARDING DENVER AND FRESNO STREETS WHICH WOULD <br />PROHIBIT THE CONNECTION OF THESE ROADWAYS WITHOUT A PUBLIC HEARING. <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />The City Council recessed at 10:30 and reconvened at 10:40 p.m. <br /> <br />6.2. Approve Plans and Specifications and Order Advertisement for Bids for <br />Westwood Improvement Project <br /> <br />Mayor Tralle indicated that staff is requesting to go out for bids for <br />the Westwood Improvement project to get a better picture of the cost of <br />the project and how to divide the assessments. <br /> <br />Eleanor Todahl stated that if the street is widened, items such as flag <br />poles and mailboxes would have to be moved. Terry Maurer indicated <br />that mailboxes in the easements would be replaced by the contractor, <br />however, any other personal items in the easements would be the <br />responsibility of the homeowner. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER <br />APPROVING THE <br />FOR BIDS IN <br />COUNCI LMEMBER <br /> <br />KROPUENSKE MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 92-03, A RESOLUTION <br />PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING THE ADVERTISEMENT <br />THE MATTER OF THE WESTWOOD AREA IMPROVEMENT OF 1991. <br />HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />5.3. Conditional Use Permit and Solid Waste Facility License Renewal by <br />United Power Association/Public Hearing <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf indicated that United Power Association is requesting <br />approval for the renewal of their conditional use permit and solid <br />waste facility license. The Planning Commission reviewed this request <br />and recommended approval of the conditional use permit and solid waste <br />facility license. The Council reviewed the license and discussed the <br />two requested changes in the conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Mayor Tralle opened the public hearing. <br />
