Discussion was held regarding the planting of trees along the buffer strip. It was the City Council's desire to have the plantings extend all the way to the eastern property line of the plat. Twilla Okeefe, 12992 Orono Road, questioned how much of her yard would be taken by right-of-way with the road. Terry Maurer indicated that no additional right-of-way would taken. Pete Gunderson, 18284 Concord, questioned if the buffer could run to the north along the plats eastern boundary. Mayor Tralle stated that this could be considered by the Park and Recreation Commission. 3. It was the consensus of the Council that County 30 should remain a through street, with Orono Road having a stop sign at this proposed realigned 900 intersection. The Council directed the engineer to begin discussions with the County on the proposed realignment of this intersection with the understanding that County Road 30 remain a through street. 6. Proposed site for sewer lift station - The City Council directed staff to plan the lift station to be located to the north side of the proposed parkway east of the temporary street easement for City Hall. The Council also recommended that the building be architecturally harmonious with City Hall and that plantings and other appropriate landscaping be incorporated around this structure. 7. City sewer and water Mayor Tralle indicated that discussion regarding extending City sewer and water into the existing development would be discussed at a later date and would probably be discussed at the time street improvements are discussed for the area. .
