Discussion on Board and Commission Appointments In reviewing the list of applicants, the City Attorney stated that the same individual could serve on both the EDA and HRA. It was the consensus of the City Council to interview the HRA applicant, two EDA applicants, and four Park and Recreation Commission applicants between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 3, 1994. The City Council directed staff to re-advertise for the vacancies on the Library Board and Planning Commission, and tentatively set January 10, 1994, as the date for interviewing those candidates. 5.~ Review January/February 1994 Meeting Schedule COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO ESTABLISH JANUARY 17 AND FEBRUARY 21, 1994, AS MEETING DATES FOR THE CIP WORK SESSIONS. COUNCILMEMBER FEBRUARY 17 , REVIEWED AT COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO HOLD THE CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING ON 1994, FOR THE PLANNING AND BUILDING ITEMS THAT ARE THE JANUARY 25, 1994, PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING. HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO ESTABLISH SATURDAY, JANUARY 8, 1994, AS THE MEETING DATE FOR THE ENGINEERING WORK SESSION TO DISCUSS THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: WWTS EXPANSION, STORM DRAINAGE PLAN, TRAFFIC STUDY, AND EAST HIGHWAY 10.
