COUNCILMEMBER FARBER <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Herbert Marty PID' 75-428-0256 A letter was submitted from <br />Marty who owns a duplex requesting that the County Assessor's <br />reduce the estimated value of half of the duplex. <br /> <br />Hubert <br />Office <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO DENY THE REQUEST TO LOWER THE ASSESSED <br />VALUATION FOR PARCEL' 75-428-0256 PUE TO COMPARABLE ESTIMATED VALUES. <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Milo Hennemann PID' <br />requesting to reduce <br />$149,800 to $137,000. <br /> <br />Milo Hennemann submitted a letter <br />valuation of his property from <br /> <br />75-422-0220 <br />the assessed <br /> <br />Jerry Kritzeck, County Assessor, stated that the <br />according to comparable homes in the area and further <br />house was a quality built house. <br /> <br />house was valued <br />stated that the <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO DENY THE REQUEST AND STATED THAT THE <br />ASSESSED VALUATION FOR PARCEL . 75-422-0220 SHALL REMAIN AS STATED PER <br />THE COUNTY ASSESSOR'S OFFICE. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Frank Noble PID' 75-425-0110 Mr. Noble submitted a letter <br />requesting that the property valuation of his home be lowered. mainly <br />due to the fact that the house was located across the street from Elk <br />River Concrete. Jerry Kritzeck stated that the increase in the <br />property valuation for this property was based on land value increases <br />in the City of Elk River and further, there was an increase in the <br />valuation of the home due to the split style of the home. He stated <br />that all split homes have been raised in valuation in Elk River. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED <br />VALUE SHALL REMAIN AS STATED <br />75-424-0110. COUNCILMEMBER <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />TO DENY THE REQUEST AND INDICATED THAT THE <br />BY THE COUNTY ASSESSOR FOR PARCEL . <br />DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Earl Hetrick PID' 75-022-0210 - Earl Hetrick distributed a list of <br />concerns regarding his property valuation. He stated that he is <br />requesting that the property valuation be lowered due to the following <br />concerns: car headlights, truck noise, Highway Department trucks, <br />sidewalk and snow removal, the caliber of homes being built in the <br />Santwire Addition, the noise of the parking lots being plowed, barking <br />dogs, and police sirens. Mr. Hetrick further stated that he has <br />re-roofed 1/3 of his house and that he will have to re-roof the <br />rema~n~ng 2/3. He further stated that the walkout basement side is <br />cedar siding which must be replaced. He indicated that he has received <br />an increase in taxes of $10,000 during the last two years and stated <br />this is unfair. <br />
