Herbert Marty PID' 75-428-0256 A letter was submitted from Marty who owns a duplex requesting that the County Assessor's reduce the estimated value of half of the duplex. Hubert Office COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO DENY THE REQUEST TO LOWER THE ASSESSED VALUATION FOR PARCEL' 75-428-0256 PUE TO COMPARABLE ESTIMATED VALUES. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. 4. Milo Hennemann PID' requesting to reduce $149,800 to $137,000. Milo Hennemann submitted a letter valuation of his property from 75-422-0220 the assessed Jerry Kritzeck, County Assessor, stated that the according to comparable homes in the area and further house was a quality built house. house was valued stated that the COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO DENY THE REQUEST AND STATED THAT THE ASSESSED VALUATION FOR PARCEL . 75-422-0220 SHALL REMAIN AS STATED PER THE COUNTY ASSESSOR'S OFFICE. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. 5. Frank Noble PID' 75-425-0110 Mr. Noble submitted a letter requesting that the property valuation of his home be lowered. mainly due to the fact that the house was located across the street from Elk River Concrete. Jerry Kritzeck stated that the increase in the property valuation for this property was based on land value increases in the City of Elk River and further, there was an increase in the valuation of the home due to the split style of the home. He stated that all split homes have been raised in valuation in Elk River. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED VALUE SHALL REMAIN AS STATED 75-424-0110. COUNCILMEMBER CARRIED 4-0. TO DENY THE REQUEST AND INDICATED THAT THE BY THE COUNTY ASSESSOR FOR PARCEL . DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION 6. Earl Hetrick PID' 75-022-0210 - Earl Hetrick distributed a list of concerns regarding his property valuation. He stated that he is requesting that the property valuation be lowered due to the following concerns: car headlights, truck noise, Highway Department trucks, sidewalk and snow removal, the caliber of homes being built in the Santwire Addition, the noise of the parking lots being plowed, barking dogs, and police sirens. Mr. Hetrick further stated that he has re-roofed 1/3 of his house and that he will have to re-roof the rema~n~ng 2/3. He further stated that the walkout basement side is cedar siding which must be replaced. He indicated that he has received an increase in taxes of $10,000 during the last two years and stated this is unfair.
