THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.9. <br /> <br />Conditional Use Permit Reauest by Joe Busillo/Public Hearina - CU 94-05 <br /> <br />Gary Schmitz indicated that Mr. Busillo is applying for a conditional use permit to <br />sell exotic birds from his home at 19550 Lowell Street. The business will consist of <br />breeding exotic birds and selling the baby birds on evenings and weekends. Mr. <br />Busillo will be the only employee. <br /> <br />Dan Tveite, Planning Commission indicated that the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval with four stipulations. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Farber opened the public hearing. There being no one for or against <br />the matter, Vice Mayor Farber closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Councilmember Scheel questioned the applicant as to noise level, vaccination of <br />the birds and location of the birds. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />REQUESTED BY JOE BUSILLO TO SELL EXOTIC BIRDS FROM HIS HOME LOCATED AT <br />19550 LOWELL ST. WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />1. THE HOURS OF OPERATION BE AS PER CITY CODE. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />MR. BUSILLO MAINTAIN ENOUGH ROOM IN THE DRIVEWAY FOR CUSTOMER <br />VEHICLES DURING OPERATING HOURS. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />3. SIGNAGE BE LIMITED TO TWO SQUARE FEET MOUNTED FLAT ON THE WALL OF <br />THE DWELLING. <br /> <br />4. THIS USE IS SUBJECT TO AN ANNUAL REVIEW BY STAFF TO ENSURE THAT THE <br />INTEGRITY OF THE RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD IS MAINTAINED. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />6.10. Conditional Use Permit - Reauest by James Thompson/Public Hearina CU-94-04 <br /> <br />Gary Schmitz indicated that James Thompson is requesting a conditional use <br />permit to operate a sales lot and consignment sales for used automobiles, <br />recreational vehicles and boats at. 9945 Highway 10. <br /> <br />Dan Tveite indicated that the Planning Commission recommended approval with <br />8 conditions. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Farber opened the public hearing. There being no one for or against <br />the matter, Vice Mayor Farber closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />JAMES THOMPSON TO OPERATE AN AUTOMOBILE SALES LOT AND CONSIGNMENT <br />SALES AT THE LOCATION OF 9945 HIGHWAY 10, WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />THE ENTIRE PARKING AND DISPLAY AREA BE OVERLAYED WITH A BITUMINOUS <br />SURFACE AND STRIPED. <br />
