The employee is eligible to take the
October skills and physical fitness testes. If passed, the wages
available in these two sections will be paid on October 31 for
September and October. In December, the employee is also eligible
for the wages available in the other sections of the WIP (community
service, wellness, and education) for the last four months of the
year subject to the maximum wage guidelines.

The WIP is a voluntary plan and, as such, all components of the plan are
nongrievable and nonarbitrable. The Chief of Police will establish a
Committee or Committees to oversee the administration of the program.
The determination of these Committees on which employees successfully
complete the requirements of the WIP is final. The Committee members
will be appointed annually by the Chief of Police, and an employee may
serve on the Committee as long as deemed appropriate by the Chief of
Police.
