The components of the <br />WIP include a physical fitness section, a wellness section, a community <br />service section, an educational section, and a skills evaluation section. <br />The goal of the WIP is to help develop a health, well-rounded work force <br />which will provide benefits to the employee, employer, and the <br />community as a whole. <br /> <br />If all of the guidelines for the WIP are met by the employee, they will <br />have the opportunity to obtain additional wages in the following amounts: <br /> <br />After 5 years - Up to 30A>> of top patrol prorated per month <br />After 9 years - Up to 4.50/0 of top patrol prorated per month <br />After 13 years - Up to 60/0 of top patrol prorated per month <br />After 17 years - Up to 7.50/0 of top patrol prorated per month <br /> <br />Only full-time years of service qualify. <br /> <br />Based on the priorities of the WIP, the wage incentives are offered in the <br />following breakdown: <br /> <br />400/0 for Physical Fitness <br />100/0 for Wellness <br />200/0 for Education <br />1 00/0 for Community Service <br />200/0 for Skills <br /> <br />Employees are eligible to begin obtaining additional wages starting in the <br />month after they have reached the minimum length of service required. <br />The tests for the physical fitness and skills sections will be conducted in <br />April and October each year. Evidences of compliance to the <br />requirements of the community service, wellness, and education sections <br />will be evaluated in December of each year. Payments for the education, <br />wellness, and community services sections will be on December 31 and <br />payments for the skills and physical fitness sections will be on April 30 <br />and October 31. <br />
