<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />December, 1993 <br /> <br />7 of 8 Pages <br /> <br />PROGRAM: Community SelVice <br /> <br />WAGE INCENTIVE: 100/0 of the total available <br /> <br />COMPONENTS: This voluntary section of the Wage Incentive Program <br />must be completed on employee's time. The employee <br />must show evidence of participation in community <br />selVices or activities. The employee must be active for <br />the entire year in at least one community selVice or <br />activity. The activity or community selVice does not <br />need to be based in Elk River. The community selVice <br />or activity must be preapproved by the Chief of Police. <br />Examples of community selVices or activities include <br />membership and participation in such groups as the Arts <br />Council, Jaycees Organization, Lions Club, Rotary Club, <br />Community Theater, Church Groups, Community <br />Outreach Programs, Youth Organizations, United Way <br />activities, CAER, etc. Evidence of participation must <br />be show annually. <br /> <br />Any participation in a community selVice organization <br />that is required by the Chief of Police as part of the <br />employees duties as a police officer will not be <br />considered an eligible activity for meeting the <br />requirements of this section of the WI P. <br />
