OA 04-07. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />5.5. Request by Peter Specht for Conditional Use Permit to Allow Bus Storage in 11 Zoning <br />District. Public Hearing-Case No. CU 04-37 <br /> <br />Planner Chris Leeseberg submitted the staff report. Mr. Leeseberg stated the applicant is <br />requesting a conditional use permit to operate a bus storage facility in the 11 zoning district. <br />Mr. Leeseberg discussed busing; stafftng, street access, and the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />Mayor Klinzing opened the public hearing. There being no one to speak to this issue, Mayor <br />Klinzing dosed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER FARBER AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ TO APPROVE A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />TO PETER SPECHT WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />1. OUTDOOR STORAGE OF INOPERABLE BUSES OR BUS PARTS IS <br />PROHIBITED. OCCASIONAL OVERNIGHT OUTDOOR PARKING <br />OF BUSES IS ALLOWED. <br /> <br />2. ALL BUS MAINTENANCE SHALL OCCUR WITHIN THE BUILDING. <br /> <br />3. THE BUILDING SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL BUILDING CODES. <br /> <br />4. THE BUILDING SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL FIRE CODES. <br /> <br />5. IF MORE THAN 7 BUSES ARE TO BE STORED IN THE BUILDING, <br />THE APPLICANT SHALL APPLY FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. <br /> <br />6. IF MORE THAN 7 EMPLOYEES ARE TO BE ON SITE, THE <br />APPLICANT SHALL APPLY FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. <br /> <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />6.1. Consider Resolution Calling for a Public Hearing for a Private School Facility Project <br />Pursuant to Minnesota Law. and Authorizing Preparation and Publication of a Notice of the <br />Hearing <br /> <br />Director of Finance and Administrative Services Lori Johnson stated the city's bond counsel <br />reviewed the request by the Church of St. Andrew to have the city ftnance a portion of a <br />school e:ll..l'ansion with tax exempt bonds and found the request to be eligible as a tax <br />exempt project. She stated a City Council public hearing should be scheduled for February <br />22, 2005 regarding the issuance of tax exempt bonds for this project. <br />
