<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF BIG LAKE <br />MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A general meeting of the City Council of the City of Big Lake, Minnesota was called to order <br />by Acting Mayor Duane Langsdorf at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Big <br />Lake, Minnesota, on Wednesday, September 27,2000. The following Council Members <br />were present: Jim Dickinson, Chuck Heitz, Jim Maas and Don Orrock. A motion to adopt <br />the following resolution was made by Council Member Heitz and seconded by Council <br />Member Dickinson. <br /> <br />CITY OF BIG LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000-22 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE <br />NORTHST AR CORRIDOR STATION PLAN FOR THE CITY OF BIG LAKE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Big Lake has been involved with and is a member of the <br />Northstar Corridor Development Authority (NCDA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, NCDA and the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) are <br />in the process of planning and implementation of a commuter rail transit operation on the <br />Burlington Northern/Sante Fe rail line between the City of Rice and downtown Minneapolis, <br />thus passing through Big Lake; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Advanced Corridor Plan for the commuter train operation has <br />included the siting of a station in Big Lake at the northwest corner of the railroad tracks and <br />County Road 43; and <br />
