<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 00-42 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE NORTHSTAR CORRIDOR STATION SITING <br />FOR THE BECKER STATION AND SETTING A PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL <br />HEARING TO DISCUSS THE PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Becker has been involved with the Northstar Corridor in issues <br />concerning planning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as part of the process a station site has been identified and work has been <br />accomplished planning for the development of the site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the federal government requires a great number of procedural steps to be <br />undertaken in the process to ensure local approval and citizen awareness and <br />participation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, approval of the siting design is needed as one of these steps; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public informational meeting is also required to discuss the project and <br />answer any questions the public may have. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the Becker City Council that the general <br />station siting is hereby approved subject to storm sewer retention ponding, which would <br />be required for lot coverage that exceeds 50%. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOL YED that Kelli Neu be named the alternate Northstar Corridor <br />representative for the City of Becker. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOL YED that a public informational meeting is hereby called to be <br />held in the Becker City Council Chambers on Tuesday October 17th at 6:00 PM. <br /> <br />Roger Bigalke _Yes <br /> <br />Hal Lofgreen <br /> <br />Yes <br /> <br />Judy Bowatz _Yes <br /> <br />Greg Kolbinger _Yes <br /> <br />Ken Paulson Yes <br /> <br />Adopted this 5th day of September 2000. <br /> <br />-~ ~ ~ <br />.-/ .' n <br /> <br />( '/L' d1 <br />Mayor I dy Bo a.f- ~ <br /> <br />Joe <br /> <br /> <br />Attest: <br />
