O:msider Resolution Approving 2005 Fee Schedule-Public Hearing <br /> <br />Staff report submitted by Gty OerkJoan Schmidt with Finance and Administrative Services <br />Director Lori Johnson presenting. Ms. Johnson stated the Council reviewed the proposed <br />changes in the fee schedule at its November 15, 2004 meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Klinzing opened the public hearing. There being no one to speak. to this issue, Mayor <br />Klinzing closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dietz questioned the park dedication fees and how Elk River compared to <br />surrounding communities. Parks and Recreation Director Bill Maertz stated Elk River is <br />equal to or higher than many of the surrounding communities. He stated Elk River has more <br />park development needs. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COUNOLMEMBER DIETZ AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNOLMEMBER KUESTER TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 04-22 ADOPTING <br />THE 2005 FEE SCHEDULE. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COUNOLMEMBER MOTIN AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNOLMEMBER TVEITE TO PUBLISH A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE <br />04-22. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />6.2. Consider 2005-2007 Local 271 Union Contract-Police Se~eants <br /> <br />Gty Administrator Pat Klaers stated city representatives met with representatives of the <br />Police Sergeants Union Local 271 to negotiate the 2005-2007 union contract. He briefly <br />discussed the recommended changes as outlined in his staff report. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COUNOLMEMBER KUESTER AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNOLMEMBER DIETZ TO APPROVE THE SERGEANTS UNION <br />CONTRACT FOR 2005-2007. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />6.3. Consider 2004 Budget Amendments <br /> <br />Finance and Administrative Services Director Lori Johnson reviewed the 2004 budget <br />amendments. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COUNOLMEMBER DIETZ AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNOLMEMBERKUESTER TO APPROVE THE 2004 BUDGET <br />AMENDMENTS. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />Bani F wxls <br />Ms. Johnson discussed the cash balance remaining in two bond funds. She stated the <br />Council should designate the appropriate place to transfer the excess funds. <br />
