He stated <br />purchasing these photos and pavement management software would allow the city to create <br />storm sewer maps and to review city streets from a computer for the pavement management <br />program. The purchase would be funded by the Street Reserve and Surface Water <br />Management funds. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COUNOLMEMBER DIETZ AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNOLMEMBER KUESTER TO PURCHASE THE STEREO <br />PHOTOGRAPHS ($22,500), THE PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE <br />($5,000) AND USER GROUP/TECH SUPPORT ($1,500). Consider 2005 Park Improvement Budget <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Director Bill Maertz reviewed the 2005 park improvement budget <br />recommended by the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dietz stated he liked the parks capital improvement plan and stated that it <br />reflects the seriousness of the city to finish its parks. <br /> <br />Councilmember Tveite stated that Mr. Maertz and the Parks and Recreation Commission <br />did an outstanding job with the 2005 Improvement Plan. <br /> <br />Councilmember Motion questioned if certain funds must be dedicated to Trott Brook <br /> <br />Ms. Johnson stated staff would review the Trott Brook developer's agreement. <br /> <br />MOVED BY COUNOLMEMBER TVEITE AND SECONDED BY <br />COUNOLMEMBER MOTIN TO APPROVE THE 2005 PARKS CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT BUDGET. <br /> <br />6.5. Parks & Recreation Update <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Director Bill Maertz provided an update of November activities of the <br />Parks and Recreation Department and the Commission.
