River Park Fourth Addition
July 26,2016
Page 3
15. Detail the intension of the existing stormwater infrastructure north and west of CB 281. Remove,
replace, or modify as needed to provide only needed functioning infrastructure at the end of this
project.
The existing catch basin, storm pipe and outlet control structure will be removed.Current stormwater design
requirements do not allow the(re-)use of the exiting storm infrastructure. The OCS structure may be salvaged by
the excavation contractor for future use offsite.
16. Standard Plates for pedestrian ramps shall be replaced with current MnDOT plates that meet ADA
standards. Red truncated domes shall be used.
Page 1 and 2 of MnDOT Standard Plan 5-297.25 Pedestrian Curb ramp Details have replaced the City of Elk River
Ped.Ramp detail in the plan set. Red domes are noted below the detail.
17. All sidewalk shall be placed on a 4-inch aggregate base.
The typical street section detail indicates a 4"aggregate base is required under all sidewalks. We have also added
the same requirement in the Division —Site Work, 02520 Concrete Sidewalk and Driveway specification section
18. Standard details for sewer and water services should be modified to identify the curb stop and stubs
being installed to the back side of the 10-foot front yard easement.
Standard sewer and water service details have been modified to end construction at the front drainage and utility
easement rather than at the right-of-way.
19. Engineering reserves the right to continue our review and provide additional comments as identified.
Understood.
20. River Park Third Addition NPDES permit may need to include this development under `common
development.'
River Park Third Addition will be entered as `common development'when the online NPDES application for River
Park Fourth and Miske Meadows application is submitted.Permit number pending.
21. Add pipe capacity and corresponding modeled cfs for all proposed stormwater pipe/routing.
See attached Storm Sewer HydrFlow Summary Report.
22. A MIDS report is needed.
The MIDS Report is contained in the Storm Water Report submitted on 07/26/2016 for both Miske Meadows and
River Park Fourth.
12800 Whitewater Drive, 11 Minnetonka,MN 55343 1 763.476.6010
