Typical Sections and Details <br /> 6. Existing Conditions <br /> 7. Removals <br /> 8. List of Estimated Quantities <br /> 9. Street and Stormwater Plan and Profiles <br /> 10. Utility Plan and Profiles <br /> 11. Traffic Control and Staging Plans <br /> 12. Signage and Striping Plan <br /> 13. Contractor Storage Area <br /> 14. Erosion and Sediment Control <br /> 15. Cross Sections <br /> Task 8—Prepare Final Documents <br /> Prepare final drawings, estimated quantities, specifications, conditions of the contract and bidding <br /> requirements. Coordinate these plans and specifications with the permitting agencies and Mn/DOT. <br /> Task 9—Final Construction Cost Estimate <br /> Finalize the estimated cost of construction and value engineer as required to maintain budget. <br /> Task 10— Quality Control Review <br /> Schedule and conduct an in-house quality control review of the final draft of the construction documents. <br /> Deliverables: Preliminary Design Report including conceptual design drawings and provide the City a <br /> copy of the site survey, pavement cores and borings. Easement exhibits and descriptions. Agency <br /> Permits. Final construction drawings and specifications, and final construction cost estimate. <br /> Phase 5 — Contract Bidding and Award <br /> Task 1 —Pre-bid Conference <br /> Coordinate and attend pre-bid conference if the City requests one. <br /> Task 2—Bidding Process <br /> Respond to Contractor questions, review and approve proposed Contractor substitutions in coordination <br /> with the City. Prepare and coordinate any necessary Addenda. <br /> Task 3 —Bid Opening <br /> Coordinate and attend the bid opening. <br /> Project Approach, Page 8 <br />
