Introduce project web pages and social media pages. <br /> Task 3 — Create Project Web Pages <br /> Create a project web page for each individual project area which details the work to be completed. <br /> Include project personnel and their contact information, project exhibits, schedules and construction <br /> updates. <br /> Task 4—Notice Regarding Schedule and Contacts <br /> Prepare and mail a notice to all affected parcels to inform them of the construction schedule and project <br /> contact personnel. Direct them to the project webpage and social media page to receive future updates. <br /> Meet or discuss project with residents as requested. <br /> Task 5— Create Social Media Page <br /> Create either a Facebook or Twitter page for each of the project areas. <br /> Post relevant project and construction updates. <br /> Phase 4 — Design Including Plans and Specifications <br /> Task 1 —Existing Utilities Review <br /> We will investigate and review the existing data on the storm sewer, water, and sanitary sewer systems. <br /> In cooperation with City staff, a final report will be developed to summarize which systems are proposed <br /> to be replaced, repaired or protected. This task will include site visits to visually review the existing <br /> infrastructure. <br /> Task 2— Stormwater Model <br /> The storm water system will be modeled with XP-SWMM, HydroCAD or Autodesk Storm and Sanitary <br /> Analysis. The model will define existing and future flow rates, anticipated problem areas, recommended <br /> pipe sizes, recommended ponding areas or rain gardens, and recommended future system improvements if <br /> applicable. The model will include areas outside the project area that currently drain to the proposed <br /> system. <br /> Task 3 — Small Utility Notification <br /> We will notify and coordinate the project improvements with the utility companies. <br /> Task 4—Value Engineering <br /> Review the project to determine possible cost savings such as recycle of bituminous as base material. <br /> Task 5—Identify Easements <br /> This task will consist of identifying the necessary easements based upon the project limits and preparing <br /> easement exhibits and descriptions for use by the City. <br /> Task 6—Utility Design Meeting <br /> Coordinate a meeting with Elk River Municipal Utilities and the small utilities as required. We will <br /> coordinate and attend the utility design meeting. The goal is to define potential conflicts and to provide <br /> the utility companies with advance notice of the project to avoid construction delays. <br /> Project Approach, Page 7 <br />
