Elk River Public Library Board Page 3 <br /> March 22,2016 <br /> III5.2.b Election of Officers <br /> Continued to the May meeting. <br /> 5.2.c ID Badges <br /> All the forms have been signed and jpeg's have been sent for <br /> members who want their picture on their I.D., so badges should be <br /> complete by the next meeting. <br /> 5.3 Park Grounds Report <br /> Tim Sevcik's written report indicated he had nothing new to report at this <br /> time. Chair Dietz would like to walk the grounds at the next meeting. <br /> 5.4 Building Maintenance Report <br /> Gary provided his update at the beginning of the meeting. <br /> 5.5 Board Member Zone Updates <br /> 111 • Zone One: Chair Dietz reports the windmill signage is in progress <br /> with the help of the Communications Coordinator,RaeAnn Gardner. <br /> The windmill is turning copper on the bottom, and she would like to <br /> sign the butterfly garden. RaeAnn Gardner will attend the May <br /> meeting to talk about signs on the library grounds. <br /> • Zone Five: Britt reported she observed the large grass divot caused <br /> by the rainfall that Gary Lore mentioned. Staff had reported to her <br /> the interior paint was an issue,but that also is being handled by Gary <br /> Lore. <br /> • Zone Two: Willie asked why there is salt on the walkways. Gary <br /> Lore said he would talk to Tim Sevcik about that;it might have been <br /> a machine malfunction or miscommunication. Councilman Olsen is <br /> getting the crack in the sidewalk caulked. <br /> • Zone Three: Mary thinks the Ginko tree in the turnaround has been <br /> removed by Park staff as was announced at the February 9th meeting. <br /> 5.6 City Council Report on Issues Affecting the library <br /> • Councilman Olsen reported on the report the rain garden was meant <br /> to read butterfly garden and it is maintained by the Master Gardeners <br /> at Sherburne County. <br /> i <br /> 1IUENEI I1 <br /> NATURE <br />
