Conservation: We design for the conservation of our client's and our Earths' resources At JLG, Sustainable Design means creating high performance solutions that meet our clients' present profitability goals without compromising the ability of future generations to meet JLG's green buildings their own. We do that by designing to a LEED Certified minimum on all of our projects to reduce energy use on lower long-term maintenance costs and, since the most sustainable thing you can do is reuse your building, we design to last - creating flexible and organic solutions that are nimble and average by��/p able to adapt to new parameters. To that end, we design to align to today's bottom line while remaining cost-effective to maintain, especially in the areas of energy and water savings. IMPROVED HEALTH We live in a region in which 90% of our time is spent indoors. Study after study has shown the effects of indoor air qual- ity, daylighting and other environmental factors as they relate to the health and well-being of a building's occupants. JLG maximizes indoor design opportunities to increase attention spans, lower sick days and raise productivity. SOMETHING WORTH SAVING Our world is one of abundance, in which we can now produce everything so inexpensively that everything has become disposable, even buildings. JLG believes that if we design buildings that tell a story and create an experience, we want to retain that story across generations, not just for right now.
