rate differential equal to 3%of his or her base rate of pay times the number of hours worked <br /> during which the lineman assumed such lead duties. <br /> The rate differential provided in this policy applies during both regular scheduled work <br /> hours and after hours. During after-hours call out, as well as at any other time, this rate <br /> differential will be paid only when the crew is full and the lead lineman is absent. <br /> 30. PAYCHECK DEDUCTIONS <br /> By law, the Utilities is required to withhold federal and state taxes, FICA and PERA from <br /> an employee's pay. The Utilities also has a Health Care Savings Plan with mandatory <br /> participation and will withhold applicable amounts from an employee's pay. In addition, <br /> other deductions may be made upon authorization of a participating employee including <br /> the following: <br /> a. Employee share of health insurance h. World Vision <br /> b. Credit Union i. United Way <br /> c. PERA life insurance <br /> d. Deferred compensation <br /> e. Flexible benefits <br /> f Security System purchase/time payments <br /> g. Computer Loans $1,200.00 (12 months) <br /> 31. PAYCHECKS <br /> Employees are paid every two weeks, The pay period begins every other Tuesday at 12:00 <br /> a.m. and ends every other following Monday at 11:59 p.m. Payday is the Friday <br /> immediately following the end of the pay period. <br /> Employees are responsible for their paychecks upon receipt. Direct deposit is available to <br /> employees upon request. <br /> 32. NIGHTWORK REST TIME <br /> The Utilities will provide a regular field worker with one hour paid rest time for each hour <br /> worked between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.,excluding work performed during such window <br /> on Saturday or Sunday. The worker must make arrangements with his or her supervisor <br /> before taking such rest time. This nightwork rest time shall be taken during the next <br /> scheduled work shift. If the supervisor does not release the worker to take this nightwork <br /> rest time, all hours worked by the worker on the next scheduled shift shall be paid at one <br /> and one half times the worker's base rate of pay. It is the employee's responsibility to <br /> notify the supervisor and obtain approval prior to taking the rest time. It is also the <br /> employee's responsibility to take the nightwork rest time if it is approved by the <br /> 25 <br /> August 2014 <br /> November 2015 <br /> 92 <br />
