basis to emergency calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week <br /> without rotation. Such on-call time and availability is not <br /> working time. The Water Superintendent is not required to <br /> remain within the residency radius and does not receive <br /> additional compensation for on-call time or for actual <br /> response time. The call out time policy does not apply to the <br /> Water Superintendent. The Water Superintendent shall <br /> arrange for another qualified Utilities employee to be on <br /> call: 1) during his or her scheduled vacation periods; 2) <br /> when it is necessary for the Water Superintendent to use <br /> accrued sick leave. <br /> Take Home Vehicles. Based on the expectation that they will <br /> regularly be available to respond in a timely and appropriate <br /> manner to calls about Utilities business outside of regular <br /> business hours, the Security Technician, the Electric <br /> Superintendent, and the Water Superintendent, are provided <br /> Utilities vehicles to take home. These vehicles are subject to the <br /> Utilities' vehicle policy and may only be used for the exclusive <br /> purpose of responding to calls about Utilities business. <br /> 27. ELECTRIC RE-CONNECT TIME <br /> Regular field workers performing electric re-connects at times other than during their <br /> scheduled work hours will be paid in accordance with the general policy on Call Out Time <br /> for Regular Field Workers. <br /> 28. STORM PAY <br /> Employees assigned to work at another utilities distribution system to assist with <br /> restoration following a storm, will receive time and one-half(1.5) times their regular rate <br /> of pay for all such hours worked, except hours worked on Sunday or an Elk River <br /> Municipal Utilities recognized Holiday, which shall be paid at two (2.0) times the <br /> employee's regular rate of pay. The Utilities will use its best efforts to rotate and distribute <br /> these assignments equally with priority on maintaining proper staffing levels at Elk River <br /> Municipal Utilities. <br /> 29. LEAD PAY DIFFERENTIAL <br /> An employee who is currently a lineman shall assume the duties of a lead lineman when the <br /> lead lineman is absent from a crew,provided that only the most senior lineman on a crew <br /> shall assume the lead lineman's duties. The lineman assuming such duties shall receive a <br /> 24 <br /> August 2014 <br /> November 2015 <br /> 91 <br />
