Ko <br /> <br />Lo <br /> <br />A-444 <br /> <br />Assistant Principal Assignment <br /> <br />Recommend the School Board approve the assignment of Philip A. <br />Schreifels to the position of Assistant Principal at Rogers Elementary <br />School for the 2004-2005 school year. Mr. Schreifels'salary will remain <br />as a Junior High School Principal, Step 6, at $88,745 for the period July 1, <br />2004 through June 30, 2005. <br /> <br />Reduction of Hours for Teaching Assistants <br /> <br />Recommend the School Board adopt the resolution relating to the <br />reduction of hours of Teaching Assistants: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the hours or portions of hours, which were assigned for <br />individual Teaching Assistants for the 2003-2004 school year must be <br />eliminated from their assignment for the coming school year, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the School Board of Independent School District <br />#728, that the employees listed on A-453, have their employment <br />reduced as of June 18, 2004, and by the hours listed on A-453. <br /> <br />Lay Off of Teaching Assistants <br /> <br />Recommend the School Board adopt the resolution relating to the lay <br />off of Teaching Assistants: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the hours and/or portions of hours, which were assigned for <br />individual Teaching Assistants for the 2003-2004 school year must be <br />eliminated from their assigmnent, effective June 18, 2004, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these employees do qualify as member of the Teaching <br />Assistants bargaining unit and have completed probation, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the School Board of Independent School District <br />#728, that the employees listed on A-454, are hereby on official lay off <br />status effective June 18, 2004, with full lay off rights as outlined in the <br />Teaching Assistants Master Agreement, Section 12.6. <br /> <br />Termination of Employment of Teaching Assistants <br /> <br />Recommend the School Board adopt the resolution relating to the <br />termination of employment of Teaching Assistants as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the hours and/or portions of hours, which were assigned for <br />individual Teaching Assistants for the 2003-2004 school year must be <br />eliminated from their assignment effective June 18, 2004, <br /> <br /> <br />
