Go <br /> <br />A-443 <br /> <br />Staffing Requests <br /> <br />Recommend the School Board approve staffing requests as listed <br />below for the 2004-2005 school year: <br />1. Middle Level ALC Teacher for .5 FTE at VandenBerge Middle <br /> School and .5 FTE at Salk Middle School for the "school within a <br /> school" program - funded by ALC funds. <br />2. Ojibwe Language/Culture Teacher .28 FTE for Rogers High <br /> School and Elk River High School to be added to the current .72 <br /> FTE vacancy. Funding is through American Indian Grants. <br />3. Middle Level ALC Teacher for 1.0 FTE at Zimmerman Middle <br /> School for the "school within a school - funded by ALC and <br /> Targeted Services monies. This is a continuation of the position <br /> that was approved for the 2003-04 school year. <br /> <br />Summer Enrichment Appointments <br /> <br />Recommend the School Board approve the appointments of the <br />following people for the ESL Summer Enrichment Program. <br /> <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br />6. <br /> <br />Tina Ostroot - Teacher - 5 hours per day, 23 days <br />Meagan Harapat - Teacher Tutor - 3.5 hours per day, 12 days <br />Jamie Burnside - Teacher Tutor - 3.5 hours per day, 12 days <br />Karla Nelson - Teacher - 5 hours per day, 23 days <br />Elizabeth Erickson - ESL Assistant - 4 hours per day, 23 days <br />Isabel Osorio-Smith - ESL Assistant - 4 hours per day, 23 days <br /> <br />Sabbatical Leave <br /> <br />Recommend the School Board approve the half-time Sabbatical Leave <br />request of Debra L. Wilson, Media Generalist at VandenBerge and <br />Rogers Middle Schools for the 2004-2005 school year. This leave is <br />being granted as per Section 8.9 of the EREA Master Agreement. <br /> <br />Teaching During Prep <br /> <br />Recommend the School Board approve pay for teaching during prep <br />for Katherine M. Well at Zimmerman Middle School from <br />February 4, 2004 through the end of the school year. This became <br />necessary as there was no other time to provide math instruction to 8th <br />graders other than during her prep time. <br /> <br /> <br />
