Allow the extension of sewer and water infrastructure systems only after presently <br /> serviced areas have been developed to near capacity. <br /> <br /> 10. Develop and maintain, on a continuing basis, a five year capital improvements <br /> program and budget for the development, expansion, upgrade, and replacement of <br /> municipal systems (sewer, streets, water, storm sewer), municipal equipment (street <br /> maintenance, fire, office space), and park and recreation. <br /> <br /> 11. Coordinate with Sherburne County the jurisdictional responsibility of the current <br /> county ditch system. <br /> <br /> 12. Preserve natural systems through acquisition, dedication or easements. <br /> <br /> 5. Require that development plans demonstrate a compatibility with natural features <br /> and systems. <br /> <br /> 6. Establish tree preservation and protection standards to maintain the integrity of the <br /> City's natural vegetation. <br /> <br /> 7. Preserve public access to wetlands, lakeshore or other natural preservation areas <br /> through purchase, easement, dedication or other instrument. <br /> <br /> 8. Work with developers to preserve existing natural open space areas and areas that <br /> help implement the Greenway concept. <br /> <br /> 9. Develop, preserve and protect environmental resources within the area, such as <br /> forest, wetlands, water bodies and shorelines, with respect to open space, <br /> recreational uses, water and air quality, and natural ecosystems. <br /> <br /> 10. Encourage the preservation of shorelands, wetlands, and drainage ways. <br /> <br /> 11. Encourage the preservation of natural contours and soils, and preservation of natural <br /> vegetation. <br /> <br /> <br />
