His son Colt pinned his <br /> badge on him. <br /> 6.2 Open Doors for Youth - Cheryl Wold <br /> Ms. Wold discussed a non-profit, Open Doors for Youth, and noted they are looking <br /> to locate in Elk River. She discussed their mission as it relates to youth <br /> homelessness, their needs, and the collaborations they've established with local <br /> organizations. She noted their current challenge is finding a location. She stated they <br /> need a rent free site and could possibly open in January. <br /> 6.3 Resolution Recognizing Public Power Week <br /> Mayor Dietz read the resolution. <br /> Moved by Councilmember Wilson and seconded by Councilmember Motin to <br /> adopt Resolution 14-57 recognizing public power week, October 5-11, Elk <br /> River Municipal Utilities helps our community in powerful ways.
