30:31. PAYCHECKS <br /> Employees are paid every two weeks. The pay period begins every other Tuesday at 12:00 <br /> a.m. and ends every other following Monday at 11:59 p.m. Payday is the Friday <br /> immediately following the end of the pay period. <br /> Employees are responsible for their paychecks upon receipt. Direct deposit is available to <br /> employees upon request. <br /> 332. NIGHTWORK REST TIME <br /> The Utilities will provide a regular field worker with one hour paid rest time for each hour <br /> worked between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., excluding work performed during such window <br /> on Saturday or Sunday. The worker must make arrangements with his or her supervisor <br /> before taking such rest time. This nightwork rest time shall be taken during the next <br /> scheduled work shift. If the supervisor does not release the worker to take this nightwork <br /> rest time, all hours worked by the worker on the next scheduled shift shall be paid at one <br /> and one half times the worker's base rate of pay. It is the employee's responsibility to <br /> notify the supervisor and obtain approval prior to taking the rest time. It is also the <br /> employee's responsibility to take the nightwork rest time if it is approved by the <br /> supervisor. The employee's failure to take approved nightwork rest time shall result in <br /> forfeiture of such rest time. Nightwork rest time does not apply and is not paid in <br /> connection with travel or training time away from the regular workplace. <br /> 33. TRAVEL AND TRAINING TIME <br /> Em to ees are s aid for time s•ent in trainin• related to their .osition with the Utilities <br /> which must be approved in advance by the supervisor. <br /> Employees will be paid for their time s s ent travellin: in the followin: circumstances. <br /> 1.
