Resolution Accepting Bid and Authorizing Execution of Contract <br /> <br />City Engineer Terry Maurer indicated that the City received four bids for the Zane Avenue <br />Improvements. He recommended awarding the bid to the low bidder, S.R. Weidema, Inc. in <br />the amount of $302,308.40. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 02-56, <br />ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT IN <br />THE MATTER OF THE ZANE AVENUE IMPROVEMENT OF 2002. <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />Resolution Determining Assessed Cost of Improvement and Ordering Preparation <br />of Proposed Assessment Roll <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TVEITE MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 02-57 <br />DETERMINING ASSESSED COST OF IMPROVEMENT AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL IN THE MATTER OF <br />THE ZANE AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS OF 2002. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />5.7. <br /> <br />Consider Resolution Receiving the Feasibility Report and Ordering Public Hearing on the <br />Improvement in the Matter of the 175th Avenue Improvements <br /> <br />City Engineer Terry Maurer reviewed the feasibility study for the 175th Avenue <br />Improvements. The improvements include the extension of lateral sanitary sewer and trunk <br />watermain and the reconstruction of 175th Avenue from Tyler Street to Fillmore Street. <br />Terry noted that the figures reflect a 6% inflationary increase in the credit given or those <br />properties that gave the easements along 175th Avenue for no compensation. The Engineer <br />indicated that the total assessment amount for the project is $81,092. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 02-58 <br />RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT AND ORDERING A PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON THE IMPROVEMENT IN THE MATTER OF THE 175TM <br /> <br /> <br />
