THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TVEITE MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 02-59 <br />DETERMINING ASSESSED COST OF IMPROVEMENT A_ND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL IN THE MATTER OF <br />175TM AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS OF 2002. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />8. Other Business <br /> <br />City Administrator informed the Council that WWTP employee Allen Schultz has submitted <br />his resignation. The City Administrator requested authorization to advertise for a <br />replacement. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN MOVED TO ACCEPT THE RESIGNATION OF <br />ALLEN SCHULTZ AND TO ADVERTISE FOR A REPLACEMENT. <br />COUNCILMEMBER TVEITE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />Staff Updates <br /> <br />The City Clerk invited the Council to participate in the Sherburne Coun~ Fair Parade. <br /> <br />The City Administrator updated the Council on the River Crossing Study. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kuester noted that Dave Anderson has been nominated for Volunteer of <br />the Year through the Central Minnesota Inniative Fund. His nomination is relates to his <br />work on the railroad grade. Councilmember Kuester requested the Council to submit a letter <br />of recommendation. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, Mayor I~linzing adjourned the meedng of the Elk River <br />City Council at 10:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Sandra Peine <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
