AProposal to Provide Professional Services for the Development of the <br /> WSSurface Water Management Plan for the City of Elk River <br /> y <br /> a <br /> Task 2 - Complete Public Input Process <br /> This task includes holding a public meeting to obtain input into the Plan for policies, <br /> problem areas, and implementation. Two additional meetings are anticipated to <br /> review portions of the plan with City staff and or selected stakeholders. <br /> Task 3 - Review current SWPPP and develop MPCA SWPPP <br /> Application for Reauthorization <br /> As part of this task, an internal audit of City systems will be conducted by our <br /> staff to identify gaps within the City's current SWPPP program. This analysis will <br /> include conducting interviews with City staff that are assigned MS4 responsibilities, <br /> evaluating current Practices, Stormwater Plans, Wellhead Protection Plans, and the <br /> status and completeness of system mapping. It will also include completing facilities <br /> inspections. The results from the above investigations will be used to develop a <br /> 2013 record of activities, as well as to assist in the completion of an Application for <br /> Reauthorization (SWPPP Document). <br /> 'tmq% Once complete, WSB will be in a position to <br /> specifically define the implementation activities <br /> required. Should you require WSB to assist you in <br /> the implementation of some of these activities, when <br /> the plan is complete, we will be able to specifically <br /> T identify services that we can cost effectively assist <br /> you in completing. This work would be an extra to <br /> the scope of work provided herein. These activities <br /> might include providing annual support needed <br /> ,• to keep your staff updated on program changes, <br /> assist in tracking progress on plan implementation, <br /> %y*a staff training, ordinance revisions, development of <br /> educational literature and programs, preparation of <br /> " annual reports, etc. <br /> Project Understanding / 3 <br />
