On streets without curbs, <br />vehicles shall be parked only to the right of the. <br />travelled portion of the roadway and parallel thereto and <br />in such a man~er so as not to interfere with the flow of <br />traffic. <br /> <br />No vehicle shaI1 be parked within the City in any of the <br />following places: <br /> <br />aJ <br /> <br />ht <br /> <br />On a sidewalk. <br />So as to block a public or private driveway. <br />Within an intersection.' <br />Within 10 feet of a fire hydrant. <br />So as to block a crosswalk. <br />In a public alley. <br />At any place where "NO PARKING" signs have been <br />placed by City officers or pursuant to city rules <br />or regulations <br />Upon the shoulders of any trunk hkghway within the <br />City. <br /> <br />No vehicle shall be'parked upon any public street .or <br />right-of-way within the City of Champlin between'the <br />hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m- <br /> <br />Police shall have the authority to remove or provide for <br />the removal of any vehicle found parked in violation of. <br />this Ordinance or applicable state law, to the nearest <br />convenient garage or place of safety. All towing charges <br />and storage fees shall be paid by the owner of the <br />vehicle. <br /> <br />Any person violating any provision of this ordinance <br />shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction <br />thereof shall be punished by'a fine of not more than <br />$700.00 or by imprisonment of not more than 90 days, or <br />both, plus the.costs of prosecution in either case. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
