MOTION CARRIED 4-0. MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER WESTGAARD TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 11-84 APPROVING NOTICE OF SUMMARY PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE 11-07, AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 2012 MASTER FEE SCHEDULE. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. 8.2. Aptirove Annual Renewal of City's Insurance Policies with League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust Mr. Simon presented the staff report. Insurance Agent Mary Eberley reviewed hex memo to the Council that was included to the Council in their packet. She agreed with staffs recommendation to change the deductible to $20,000 due to the city's past rating experience. She noted the city has a couple of claims that will impact its rate for the next three years. MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER WESTGAARD TO APPROVE RENEWAL OF THE CITY'S INSURANCE POLICIES WITH THE LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA CITIES INSURANCE TRUST AND TO INCREASE THE DEDUCTIBLE TO $20,000. MOTION CARRIED 4-0 • 8.3. Approve 2011 Budget Amendments Mr. Simon reviewed the staff report. Councilmember Motin questioned when the tablet evaluation would come before Council again. Mr. Simon stated it is slated for the January worksession agenda. MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER WESTGAARD AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER GUMPHREY TO APPROVE THE 2011 BUDGET AMENDMENTS AS PREPARED IN THE STAFF REPORT ON THE 2011 BUDGET ATTACHMENTS AMENDMENT. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. 8.4. Adopt 2012-2016 Capital Improvement Plan Mr. Simon reviewed the staff report. MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER GUMPHREY TO ADOPT THE 2012-2016 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. 8.5. Approve Filling Part-Time Recreation Assistant Position and Hiring Aubra Podolske . Mr. Fortner presented the staff report.
