An aggrieved employer and a Union <br />representative shall be allowed a reasonable amount of paid time off <br />for grievance processing which requires the "prior" approval of the <br />designated superior. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VI. - GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE <br /> <br />Add a step; Step 1 is the oral presentation to the employee's supervisor <br />(Sergeant). Step 2 is the Police Chief and Step 3 is the City <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VI - GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE <br /> <br />Step 3 would become Step 4. Provide for the option of mediation prior <br />to arbitration. <br /> <br />ARTICLE IX- DISCIPLINE <br /> <br />Section 9.6 - Grievances relating to this Article shall begin at Step 3, <br />(the City Administrator). <br /> <br />WAGES <br /> <br />For 1997: January 1, 1997 3 % <br />For 1998: January 1, 1998 3% <br />For 1999: January 1, 1999 2.75% <br /> July 1, 1999 .50% <br /> <br />INSURANCE - Employer Contribution in Article XIV <br /> <br />For 1997 $325 per month effective January 1, 1997 <br /> <br />For 1998 $340 per month effective January 1, 1998 <br /> <br /> <br />
