For 1999: $355 per month effective January 1, 1999 <br /> <br />ARTICLE XVI- UNIFORMS <br /> <br />The annual uniform allowance will be increased by $10 in 1997 to <br />$500; by $10 in 1998 to $510; and by $10 in 1999 to $520. <br /> <br />ARTICLE XXI - HOLIDAYS <br /> <br />Add one (1) premium pay holiday, Veterans Day in 1998. <br /> <br />ARTICLE XVIII - SICK LEAVE, SECTION 18.3 <br /> <br />In contract year 1998: Increase the severance pay percentages as <br />follows: <br /> <br />ao <br /> <br />Provided the following conditions are satisfied, an employee <br />shall be entitled to a cash payment for unused sick time in the <br />amount equal to fifteen percent (15%) of his/her accumulated <br />sick time up to a maximum of one hundred forty-four (144) <br />hours: <br /> <br />i) <br />ii) <br /> <br />iii) <br /> <br />The employee must resign in good standing;; <br />The employee must provide written notice of his/her <br />resignation to the City at least two (2) weeks in advance <br />of the employee's last day of work; and, <br />The employee must have worked for the City for at least <br />two (2) consecutive years. <br /> <br />The cash payment shall be in an amount equal to fifteen percent <br />(15%) of the employee's accumulated sick time (at the employee's <br />current rate of pay), up to a maximum of one hundred forty-four <br />(144) hours. <br /> <br />bo <br /> <br />The accumulation of sick time in excess of one hundred twenty <br />(120) days shall not be subject to the fifteen percent (15%) <br />payment under this policy.
